Protopersona -For GeeksforGeeks users are mostly university students and sometimes working professionals.

User Research

I conducted semi-structured interviews with 3 users. To know about

• Their learning needs.
• What problems do they face while finding suitable online courses?
• How do they choose suitable courses online with respect to their needs?

Insights of Research

• It is important who is teaching the course and what are his/her teaching methodologies.

• Most of the time online courses are suggested by peers and seniors.

• While selecting the course users look for reviews and ratings for confirming the authenticity and reliability of the course.

• Some of the deciding factors in choosing a particular course are -

  1. Cost

  2. How many students took the course

  3. Reviews and Ratings

  4. Prerequisite & Learning level of course.
